Description:Prepares, seasons, finishes, and garnishes all hot and cold food items, salads, and portioned meats in accordance with recipe and production standards. May be required to perform administrative duties such as work schedules, and update time keeping system in the absence of the Manager.
Duties:•Applies positive communication and interpersonal skills with guests, (internal and external) at all times.
•Completes all set-up duties in timely fashion.
•Prepares, seasons, finishes and garnishes all hot and cold food items, salads, and portioned meats in accordance with recipe and production standards.
•Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work area according to Soboba Casino standards and Health Department regulations.
•Maintains excellent grooming and personal conduct according to Soboba Casino standards.
•Develops Menu items and Pricing.
•Assist in Food ordering.
•Prepares and delivers food items for Special Events and Banquets.
•Conducts employee training, retraining, supervisor training and review of all Line Cooks.
•Leads and directs the daily tasks of all line cooks to ensure meeting all required standards.
•Administrative responsibilities to include create work schedule and update time keeping system in absence of the Manager.

Qualifications:Certificates, licenses and registration:
•Ability to obtain and maintain Gaming Commission license. Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a Food Handlers Card from Riverside County.

Education/Experience
•Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
•High school diploma or equivalent required.
•One year food production experience required.
•Prefer supervisory or leadership skills and knowledge.

Work Environment
•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. There may be exposure to second hand smoke.
