Valet Attendant-PT

Description:Responsible for the safe operation and transport of vehicles on company property, in accordance with established policies, procedures and controls. Provide prompt, efficient, courteous and friendly vehicle care and delivery to all valet customers of the facility. Greet guests and ensure timely service.
Duties:•Applies positive communication and interpersonal skills with guests, at all times.

•Being courteous and helpful to all guests.

•Follow the direction and instruction of Transportation Manager, Supervisor or any member of Casino management.

•Maintain traffic control ensuring all traffic lanes are kept clear.

•Ensure that your actions protect the safety and well-being of all guests and employees.

•Reports any accidents/injuries to the Security Supervisor immediately.

•Maintain excellent grooming and personal conduct according to Soboba Casino standards.

•Assessment and documentation of any vehicle damage prior to taking possession of any vehicle.

•Hand out parking tickets to guests/patients upon entry to the valet area.

•Safe operation of the vehicle in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances.

•Parking of guest vehicles in designated spaces within the designated lots.

•Double checking of parking location recording stall number on valet ticket.

•Check that headlights are off, and that vehicle is locked.

•Makes sure that vehicle keys have proper identification to its vehicle and its location.

•Makes sure that vehicle keys are accounted for and in a secure location in the valet key room.

•Retrieval of guest vehicles to the valet service area in a safe and prompt manner, and in accordance with all Casino policies and Procedures.

•Make customer service, care and satisfaction the priority in every interaction.

Performance Standards
•Act as a team member to the department and to each other, as a support system, cooperating on department and company projects and assignments, including conducting best practices for working with each other, the department and the Casino.

•Maintain an orderly and neat work area and worksite.

•Maintain a high degree of professionalism in the workplace, including standards for appropriate dress and appearance, respect for each team member, satisfactory attendance, open communication, job knowledge, and a desire to succeed, while maintaining the highest level of customer service at all times.

•Act as a department champion, promoting the department and company services and functions to other employees, other departments, vendors, applicants and others who visit the department and property.

•Serve as a team member of the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians, following the code of conduct, displaying the highest level of ethics and integrity in action, thoughts and conduct.

Certificates, licenses and registration:
•Ability to obtain and maintain Gaming Commission license.

• Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.

•Ability to obtain & maintain a valid California Drivers License and clean driving record.

•Ability to deal effectively with all guests, exercising tact, diplomacy and patience at all times.

•Must possess excellent verbal communication skills in order to promote positive and professional image.

•Must be able to drive automatic and standard (stick shift) cars.

•Must be at least 21 years of age.

•Must be able to provide current DMV Driving Record

•Must be active and able to run.

•Physical endurance and stamina required.

•Effective communication skills required.

•Ability to relate effectively in one-on-one situations with guests and other team members.

•Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions or decimals.

•Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

•Must read, write, speak and understand English.
•High School diploma or GED required.

Work Environment
•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, and vibration.
•The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
•Exposure to second hand smoke.
