Description:Summary
Greet and make a visual age assessment of all patrons entering the AC's Lounge or special event areas. Evaluate identifications that are provided by customers and place a wristband on the left wrist of customers 21 and over. The Door Host will be positioned at the entrance of AC's Lounge during high volume events.

Duties:Duties and Responsibilities:
•Greet patrons as they pass through the entrance of AC’s Lounge or special event areas being friendly and courteous at all times.
•Make a visual assessment of all patrons passing The AC's Lounge or special events areas. If the patron appears to be over 35 years of age then the door host will put a wristband on the left wrist of the customer.
•Quickly evaluate identifications that are provided by customers.
•Be aware of the surroundings and report any instances of underage drinking to a F&B supervisor
•Keep work area clean and tidy.
•Assist other F&B staff members with cleaning and straightening the lounge when necessary or directed to do so by management.

Performance Standards:
•Act as a team member to the department and to each other, as support system, cooperating on department and company projects and assignments.
•Knowing and following the guidelines that are set by the California Alcoholic Beverage Control Board (ABC). Protecting the liquor license of Soboba Casino by ensuring that these guidelines are adhered to at all times.
•Maintain a high level of organization, including maintaining an orderly and neat work area and worksite.
•Maintain a high degree of professionalism in the workplace, including standards for appropriate dress and appearance, respect for each team member, satisfactory attendance, open communication, job knowledge, a desire to succeed, and in all activities where you represent the F&B Department through trust, productivity, confidentiality, and the highest levels of customer service.
•Act as a champion, promoting your department and company services to patrons, employees and vendors who visit the property.
•Be responsive and accountable to provide feedback to management inquiries for information, clarification, suggestions or observations regarding operational, staffing, mentoring, customer service, personal development and productivity.
•Serve as a team member of the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians, following the code of conduct, displaying the highest level of ethics and integrity in action and conduct.



Qualifications:Qualifications:

•Must possess excellent verbal communication skills as well as expertise in the use of computer applications in order to promote positive and professional image.

Education/Experience:
•Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. High School Diploma required.
•Must possess excellent organizational skills.
•TIPS training and certification completed. Must maintain a valid TIPS completion certificate.
•Knowledge and experience with various identifications and ID checking procedures a plus.

Certificates, licenses and registration:
•Ability to obtain and maintain Gaming Commission license.
•Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.

Work Environment
•The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. There will be exposure to second hand smoke.
