Snack Bar Cashier

Description:Responsible for protecting departmental assets, executing all duties as assigned. Responsibilities include providing proper security, accountability and control of all company assets. Completes all required forms, logs and reports for transactions. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures. Maintains accurate bank. Maintain proper accounting of designated funds. Provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Accepts orders, serves food and beverage to guests. Assists Supervisor as needed. Calculates and presents check to guest.

Position will rotate in all three shifts(day, swing and grave) and work approximately 15 hours per week.
Duties:•Applies positive communication and interpersonal skills with guests, (internal and external) at all times.

•Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.

•Ensures friendly and efficient service to the guest.

•Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.

•Observes guests to respond to any additional requests and to determine when the meal has been completed.

•Calculates and presents check to guest.

•Maintains knowledge of all products and prices.

•Fulfills side work and preparatory duties.

•Has thorough knowledge of correct table service.

•Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work area according to Soboba Casino and Health Department standards.

•Maintains excellent grooming and personal conduct according to Soboba Casino standards.

•To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

•High School diploma or GED required and two years experience.

**Work Environment**
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. There is exposure to second hand smoke.
