The ideal candidate for Casino Host will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and networking skills, along with excellent guest service relations. A friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality will assist the Casino Host in identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with Soboba Casino’s guests, enhancing guest loyalty. A professional attitude and dedicated work ethic will both be qualities the ideal candidate possesses. The Casino Host will cultivate relationships with every level of player. The Casino Host shall be responsible for developing and delivering an environment of excitement for internal and external guests, promoting and coordinating programs, activities and special events to attract mid and high level guests, as well as develop and establish relationships with guests and encourage property loyalty, repeat visits, and exhibits core values of delivering outstanding guest service and guest satisfaction.

Work Environment
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. There is exposure to second hand smoke.
Duties:• Enhance the growth of gaming revenues through the development of a targeted customer base by building relationships with premium-valued guests. Promote gaming experiences to high-valued players while ensuring highest quality theoretical attendance and maximum ROI.
• Assist in the development of guest invitation lists for special events and entertainment.
• Convey benefits of Players Club program and qualification requirements to prospective gaming guests.
• Assist the Marketing Operations Manager with business development programs to increase guest visits.
• Assist the special events, slot department and/or table games department with the operation of gaming tournaments.
• Represent the casino at on and off property events in the capacity of a Player Development Host.
• Identify, initiate, and foster relationships with new and loyal mid to high level guests.
• Enhance growth of gaming revenues by developing internal players identified by the Marketing Operations Manager.
• Interacts with Guests in an efficient and courteous manner.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively using discernment and escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Must be knowledgeable of, and be able to explain games offered by the casino
• Must be knowledgeable of current marketing promotions and programs.
• Provide complimentaries to casino patrons according to the approved internal controls and approved Complimentary matrix.
• Maintain player database and monitor player visits, spending and preferences, to tailor marketing campaigns (including telemarketing, email and personal invitations) in an effort to encourage return visits while developing new business.
• Must adhere to all tribal ordinance, regulations, and system of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provide exceptional guest service.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of two years of Customer Service/Hosting experience in a casino.

• Serve as a team member of the Soboba Band of Luiseρo Indians, following the Soboba Casino Code of Business Conduct, representing the highest levels of ethics and integrity.

Certificates, licenses and registration:
• Ability to obtain and maintain Gaming Commission license.
• Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
