|Description:||Position is Full-Time, Graveyard Shift|
Dispatches security personnel to client's site for private, protective service firm by performing the following duties. Responsible for organizing and dispatching Security Officer and Video Technicians. Responsible for contacting emergency agencies for dispatch to the Casino.
|Duties:||•Ability to remain calm in a stressful environment.|
•Skills to perform multi-tasking duties and handle busy phones.
•Type 35 wpm and perform functions on Microsoft Word computer system.
•Ability to work independently and keep department information confidential.
•Ability to lift 25 pounds.
•Posts assignment information on dispatch board.
•Compiles and records data for dispatch.
•Issues regular and special equipment to guards.
|Qualifications:||EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:|
•High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
•Ability to write simple correspondence.
•Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
•Ability to read, write and speak English.
•Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
•Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
•Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
