The Entertainment Coordinator shall coordinate and implement special events and entertainment. The Entertainment Coordinator shall be responsible for planning, organization, and analysis of programs associated with on and off property special events and entertainment for ACs Lounge and the Event Arena.
|Duties:||Duties and Responsibilities|
Coordinate all production details with talent agencies, contracted services and other participants in Special Events and Entertainment.
Secure and maintains all permits, approved decorations, equipment associated with Event.
Oversee the organization and implementation of special events and entertainment.
Contribute regularly to the creation of new special event presentations and special promotions.
Responsible for maintaining a current entertainment schedule and distributing to Managers and Directors as changes occur.
Responsible for the creation of a budget for each event and for the year.
Responsible for the creation of a post-event accounting of ticket sales and expenses associated with each event. Report shall detail number of tickets sold, ticket revenues (including a summary of complimentary tickets), number of people in attendance and any other data that will assist management in assessing the impact of the event on casino revenues.
Reports shall be generated within two weeks of each event with a cumulative report prepared monthly. Report shall be provided to the Marketing Operations Manager, Director of Marketing and the General Manager on a monthly basis.
Responsible for controlling expenses on all events, in accordance with the established budgets.
Assist Marketing Operations Manager, outside agency, Marketing Director and/or General Manager, regarding advertising and marketing strategies, advertising placements and accuracy and appropriateness of advertising copy relating to entertainment and special events. This includes timely communication with management and agencies on any and all changes in the advertising schedule immediately upon being advised from booking agency.

Ability to deal effectively with all staff members exercising tact, diplomacy and patience at all time.
Maintain excellent grooming and personal conduct according to Soboba Casino standards.
Works closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to maintain an Entertainment schedule and calendar to bring a variety of acts and events to the casino.
Responsible for the coordination and production of all special events, including but not limited to talent agencies, subcontracted services, vendors and talent.
GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED
Must have a minimum of 6 months experience booking talent.
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one to two year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of the sequence of planning and implementation is required.
Marketing and/or casino experience preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain Gaming Commission license.
Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
