Security Screening Guard

The Security Screening Guard’s primary duties shall be to validate and allow the appropriate access to the casino facility. This is done by verifying the identification of guests, vendors and employees.

Duties:Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding guest service by interacting with guests and promoting a positive experience.
• Check Handbags, purses, etc. to ensure there are no weapons or outside beverages being brought into the casino.
• Observe, and react accordingly to the behaviors of guests.
• Observe that all regulations are being followed
• Maintain appearance, uniforms and upkeep of all certificates and licenses;
• Write reports when applicable.
• Complete all reports in a timely manner.
• Report all violations of all laws, Soboba Casino policies and procedures, Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission regulations, and internal controls.

Qualifications:Certificates, licenses and registration

• Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license
• Negative results on all drug and alcohol tests
• Clean and valid California Driver License
• BSIS Security Guard Card or Proprietary Private Security Officer (PSO) License

Education and Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to promote a positive and professional image
• Qualifying score on the following examinations
o Report documentation
o Oral Interview
o Physical Abilities
o Background Investigation
o Drag 100lbs for 25ft
