|Description:||The Slot Technician II will analyze and respond to a variety of customer service related issues. The technicians are responsible for the repair and maintenance of component level electronic circuitry in gaming devices. In addition technicians will be expected to maintain and calibrate currency validators, execute machine moves, game conversions, installations and floor upgrade of current ticket-in ticket out products. Responsible to investigate device malfunctions of various gaming devices and clear bill jams. Day to day repair and preventative maintenance of all slot machines installed at Soboba Casino. Perform other duties as deemed necessary by Management. |
|Duties:||•Responsible for the installation, removal, conversion relocation of gaming device. |
•Day to day preventative maintenance on gaming devices and signs.
•Troubleshooting of ticket-in ticket-out and coin machines.
•Clear bill validator jams and perform emergency drops.
•Assist and perform game conversions and firmware upgrades.
•Troubleshoot IGT Advantage Accounting System
•Investigate and verify any ticket issues
•Coordinate with and assist Slot Supervisors as needed
•Maintain inventory of supplies needed to perform job function
•Explain tasks to lower level technicians
•Maintain personal tools and equipment necessary for position.
•Document and repair service activities.
•Verify large jackpots and customer disputes. 3
•Kobetron gaming devices with the Tribal Gaming Commission
|Qualifications:||•Knowledge of basic AC/DC electronics.|
•Knowledge of basic computer networking.
•The ability to troubleshoot repairs and maintain to a modular level.
•The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English Language to comprehend product labeling instructions, and to enable the safe applications of products and process.
•Knowledge of electronics/wiring to install, repair and modify electronics
•Have the ability to identify areas that require additional expertise and follow-ups.
•High School diploma or equivalent, AA Degree in electronics preferred.
•1-2 years as a Slot Technician or equivalent technical experience.
•Possess basic motor skills and troubleshooting techniques, possess limited knowledge of all forms of gaming equipment, system components and Slot Department signage and strong organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints with particular attention to detail and quality of service.
